Eating with Karate Kid

by

Yaaaaaaa!

There’s a restaurant in Robinson’s Place that H and I tried for the first time. It caught our eyes because of the name and their cute mascot — Karate Kid! Since this Japanese fastfood already made us curious, we decided to try it out.

The menu wasn’t much different from other Japanese fastfood places — there was the usual sashimi, maki, teriyaki, etc. The food was far yummier though. H & I had Ebi Tempura, Yakisoba, Gyoza, and their Sizzling Tofu. We were very satisfied with our choices. The Sizzling Tofu had little bits of ground pork and the tofu just melted in my mouth. Saraaap. It tasted so so good I forgot to take a picture of it. Kain lang ng kain kasi. I’m not a big noodles person but I enjoyed the Yakisoba. It tasted just right. The gyoza was steamed well and was tasty. H & I eyed the last piece, debating who would get to eat it. The Ebi Tempura was cooked just right – not too oily, not too soggy, just crisp and the shrimp was scrumptious. We washed the food down with cold mineral water. Mmmmm. And they have a rice-all-you-can promo too.

If you feel like treating yourself to some Japanese food, do try out this place. Karate Kid can be found on the 4th Level of Robinson’s Place, Manila. There are other branches but I haven’t tried those yet. Enjoy!

Have you tried Omakase in Libis? If you haven’t, and if you ever happen to be in the area, check it out. It’s Mike’s and my favorite Japanese fastfood, and over the last few years the restaurant has been growing and becoming more and more well-known.

We are into Japanese foods most especially the ones that give us a lasting feel.

When we tried KARATE KID we were really satisfied and the dish that we love the most is SUKIYAKIDON.

You guys should try eating at KARATE KID THE BEST!!

I just recently discovered this newly-opened Japanese restaurant along South SUper Highway in the PTT gas station. Uber good Japanese food for such a low low price! Its called Japok, I think. I was shocked to find such a place. Their slogan is japanese food for every juan, i guess that means for all of us budget-conscious fools who love to eat good but affordable japanese food.

i love to eat at karate kid because of the cheaper price compared to other japanese resto and the taste is the same with the expensive japanese food and the excellent service that the crew extended to their customers.

The worst experience i’ve encountered is when we dine in at Karate Kid – SM San Lazaro. It was an enjoyable mall hopping that day because it is the birthday of my friend. We decided to eat there. We ordered a lot because we have some friend joining us. There was a bitch cashier in that store which is unusual to us. Since it is a group, we have some changes in our orders but the lady who assisted us made a “MAKE FACE” to us its because she is irritated with the changes. I told her, are you okay?! and she says “YES” without any word of a “MAM”. What she did in our order drinks is she put in the tray and just telling us, dis is your order. again without a MAM! My friend told me to calm down because maybe that girl is tired of her work. But as you can imagine, all of us work and will get tired but you do not have to do to your customers.

I want to share this story of mine to the Management of Karate Kid – SM San Lazaro to make a necessary actions on this because even if I want to eat again in your store, I can’t because the lady in the cashier is still there. For your information, I got the name of your bitch staff and it is SARAH.

I hope I will get a positive feedback on this and I want that girl to be fired out so that other customers will no longer experience what we have experienced with her.
