A candle-lit shower

by

Have you tried this?

Turn the shower on and let the water run hot! Is the bathroom steaming up? Good. Now light a scented candle or several candles in the bathroom. I like mine apple-scented. Now, turn off the light so the room’s just illuminated by the candles. Put on some relaxing music (I choose jazz). Take off all your clothes and get into the shower. Aaaah, refreshing. Relaxing. Get your favorite body wash and lather yourself all over with it. I like St. Ives Cucumber Melon body wash. Luscious scent! Just enjoy the whole experience. Do the shampoo thing. Stay as long as you like. You can even grab a plastic stool and just sit under the shower. (That’s great for those who don’t have a bathtub like me!)

I felt so relaxed and rejuvenated after that bath. Aaaaah.

When you do get a bathtub, you should totally let the water from the shower head fill the tub.

It’s really relaxing, and when the water from the shower head hits the water in the tub, it sounds like a waterfall…so tranquil!

I’d love to just leave the water on and enjoy the warm shower…

But I’m scared I might cause water shortage and I’d feel guilty if crops in Pampanga dry up and farmers lose their income! :p

Candles are great! Especially when you are lying in the bathtub.
