Happiness can come from the simplest of things

by

PhotobucketWaking up at your own time.
Not being afraid to ask questions.
Making wonderful acquaintances.
In vino veritas (There is truth in the wine.)
A cheeseburger.
Putting your hair up in a butterfly clip after a long day.
Walking around home barefoot.
Rosy cheeks from laughing out loud.
Sour cream on roasted potatoes.
The pitter-patter of rain.

What’s your happiness?

    sunrise,
    rain,
smell of coffee in the morning,
bed and pillows after a hard day,
    warm hug,
    singing in the shower,
    dancing in the living room,
my adorable niece tugging my hand to reach for a toy or go somewhere,
clean room (which is actually more of a triumph)
    chocolates!
    and more… :)

    Aaah, triumph = happiness too!

    – playing with my kids, hearing their silly stories
    – seeing my parents live a longer and quality life…
    – long drive with family

and a whole lot more too :)

Ditto on all esp. the good internet days! I’m having a bad internet day today (because of the strong rain yesterday!) so the happiness level of mine for today dipped a bit. πŸ˜€

being warm and cozy inside the house, when it’s stormy outside
watching a feel-good movie with my feet propped up
    looking at old photographs
    conversations over coffee with husband
waking up in the morning and seeing his face first thing
cold glass of water on a very hot day
a capsule of Lormide on my purse when my stomach is upset
my mom’s TLC when i’m sick
    clean public loo
    …and more…. πŸ˜‰

this is a wonderful reminder that happiness is free for the taking…thanks!

They all sounds lovely. I especially like looking at old photographs! Trips down memory lane are always welcome… as long as they trigger happy thoughts. πŸ˜€ And that was a beautiful insight you shared. Thank you!
