Christmas at Power Plant Mall

by

Christmas at Power Plant Mall is always festive. Our son always looks forward to the polar bear and penguin displays. Last year’s display was really awesome. This year is much simpler than last year, but still very festive! Check out some of the pictures we took last weekend.

Christmas at Power Plant Mall
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

These Christmas creatures move a little bit, making little kids squeal with delight. The big polar bear, for example, swings it neck slowly and gently from left to right. It’s slow enough that a little kid can reach out and pat its nose.

Timmy loved the polar bears best of all. I caught him going in for a kiss and thought it was super cute. <3

Reindeer at Power Plant Mall
White reindeer looking tall and grand.

These were really awesome! Beside this reindeer display is a huge chair for, I’m guessing, Santa Claus. We didn’t catch Santa when we were there, but the reindeer sure make a great backdrop for picture taking with Santa. Maybe we’ll catch him another time.

Tree at Power Plant Mall
Tall tree in red and gold, illuminated with pretty lights.

Isn’t it beautiful? I love how festive the mall looks. Classic red and golds lit up by fairy lights — you can’t get more Christmassy than that!

More happy red and gold decor.

Where the fountain is
No fountain for now! Lots of pretty lights & poinsettias take over the fountain space.

Llamas and a Duck at Power Plant Mall
Llamas and Ducks. Or are they alpacas?

The llama/alpaca on the left looks funny. It looks like a deer caught in headlights. The lone duck was funny too. It’s like it was randomly placed in the pen full of llamas/alpacas. 😀

Quack quack
Hey duck, how’d you start hanging out with the llamas (or alpacas)?

Farm animals at Power Plant Mall
Farm animals celebrate the holidays too.

Pat pat
Timmy couldn’t resist patting the little cow on the head. He called it the “Timmy Cow”.

Christmas at Power Plant Mall
Holy Family, Christmas at Power Plant Mall.

My son wanted to walk into this display and pat the dogs on the head. Aw. It was cordoned off, just like all the other displays. My husband and I caught him crawling under the cord just in time to pull him out. That black and white dog looked so cute and inviting! We couldn’t blame the little boy.

Christmas at Power Plant Mall
Quite merry, don’t you think?

Christmas at Power Plant Mall is fun! Timmy loved the animal displays best of all. He was looking for the white tigers and pandas though. They had those animals last year, but we missed them this year. Aw. Still, the polar bears made him super happy. :)

The feeling of Christmas is indeed in the air. My family had a bonding moment also last weekend at Alabang Town Center. My daughters and I have a picture with the Christmas tree as our background. hehehe!
