Kids say the darndest things. It was bedtime. The lights were out. Timmy had his head on my tummy and was pinching my tummy skin lovingly.
“Mommy tummy pweedoh,” he said in the dark.
“Guido?,” I asked, wondering if he was talking about one of the Cars characters.
“PWEYdoh!,” he repeated, pinching my skin some more.
“Playdough?,” I clarified.
“YES!,” he exclaimed.
“Mommy’s tummy is like Playdough?!,” I asked, panic and curiosity building up.
“YES!!,” he said happily, then pinched my tummy skin some more.
Oh-kay. Haha, that cracked me up.
And well, time for crunches.

Must. Eliminate. Playdough.

March 20, 2014 at 10:07 pm (10 years ago)I asked my son to call our dog Tara and he shouted “UWI”. Asked my dad about it and he said that my son often hears them shouting to Tara “UWI” since Tara is always out of the house.
