Weekend Soiree #9: A game of comment interaction

by

Welcome to Hollywood!

The rules are easy. I will ask a question. The first person who comments will answer my question, and will leave a question for the next person to answer. This next person will answer that question, and leave a question for the next next person to answer. I am sure you get it! πŸ˜‰

To make things more fun, the questions have to reflect the chosen theme. For example, if the theme is β€œGOLDEN,” all questions should be relate to anything golden. Have you heard about the gold pills you can take so that when you take a dump, it’s colored gold? If you reach the end of the rainbow and there IS a pot of gold, how would you take that pot home? As much as possible, let’s not repeat the questions for added fun! You are also welcome to play more than once!

Lights, camera, action! Here’s to our ninth weekend soiree!

The theme: CELEBRITIES

My question for Person #1: You’re having coffee with Lindsay Lohan. What’s the first thing you’d ask her?

Wentworth Miller, the main eye-candy in Prison Break. Why? Because he’s smart and has gorgeous eyes. *sigh* lol

Q: If your life is made into a movie, who would play you? And, why?

Natalie Portman or Winona Ryder because they are petite yet have strong screen presence.
Never mind that I don’t look like them at all, it is my life so I get to choose. πŸ˜€

    Vince Hizon!

I never thought I would, but my sister likes him a lot. So when he walked into the restaurant we were having lunch at, lunch was spent thinking whether I should approach him or not. I did. I asked for his autograph on the restaurant’s paper placemat. The signed sheet is with my sis now, I think she’ll have it framed. :-)

If you will become a celebrity, which field would you want to be sikat in? Showbiz, sports, politics, etc.? Why?

I have urged my sister to get one from Martin Nievera (and she did) but I have not done so even when I had the opportunity. Like, when I was dealing Blackjack at a casino in Vancouver and John Schneider (Dukes of Hazzrd, Smallville)was one of our regulars for a few months while he was filming Smallville— I could have.

To Hazel, I’d like to be popular in sports as I’m a total klutz in real life. Plus, sports people nowadays get as much commercial endorsements as movie or TV people less the intrigues.

To MarysMom, yes, I’ve had patients who are celebrities or have celebrity children but I don’t talk about them to protect their privacy. I talk about celebrities I encounter when I go to the mall though in a section of my blog called celebrity sightings.

Would you allow your child to be a movie star?

Nope. I don’t think showbiz is for our family… too much intriques and paparrazzis and no privacy.

Question: Would you date/marry a celebrity?

If I am single, why not? There are many celebrities with non-celebrity husband/wife who have successful marriages. I think as long as you love, trust and understand each other then, I think it’ll be ok. But I’d prefer somebody who is not from showbiz (Actor/Actress). There’s so much intrigues in showbiz – I might not be strong enough to survive them.

Have you ever voted/endorsed/supported a celebrity running for a government position and Why? or would you vote one?

I haven’t voted for an actor yet, although there are some who have views and perspectives I support – I think I’d be more likely to endorse a musician, myself.

Here’s my question, then – why does celebrity seem to equal competency, for many? Thankfully, no one has nominated Paris Hilton for public office, although I’m sure the campaign trail would be a site to see!

I don’t think fame actually translates to competency… celebrities just get elected because people like to see more of them. I doubt Californians actually expected Arnold S. to do great things as governor, am even positive they expected him to be a riot…

Gretchen Baretto…hands down!! She can’t seem to get enough of herself. And to think her life is so damn cozy. Literally, nakasandal na siya sa pader (aka TB Conjuanco) and she still wants to rock the boat. Ah ewan :)

well… i can only think of ethel booba and alex crisano. other couples are usually tactful about their relationship mishaps so they are less likely to be feasted upon by the gossip mill, but these two really should learn to clean up their act.

ok. which non-oscar winner celebrity do you think deserves to win a statuette too?
