The Face Brush

by

The Body Shop Face BrushI heart it. I absolutely do.

Facial wash, water and circular movements with my fingers have always been the way to go when cleaning my face — until I saw this face brush at The Body Shop. It was a Pamper Myself kind of day, and the saleslady was holding a face sponge on her right hand, the brush on her left. Ah, let’s give this new thingie a whirl, I thought.

Egad! I heart it. I absolutely do.

Just squirt facial wash over the bristles and gently rub over your face in circles. It’s great for a light exfoliation and the massage makes for better circulation. When you’re done, rinse the brush and air dry. I felt squeaky clean! After the brush, put on some eye and face cream and you’ll be as clean and pretty as a peach.

I’m thinking you could use this every other day (MWF perhaps?) so your face doesn’t dry out. It’ll be hard to resist not using this everyday though!

I have one of ’em in a complete facial set from Homedics. But, I must admit, I don’t use it as often as I probably should. I’m way too lazy to do these “pampering myself” stuff. :-( But, I know I really should do them more.

Oh there’s nothing like being jolted with fine lines to get you re-started on that beauty routine. Ack! That’s what happened to me anyway.

oooh! i have one of those, but mine is waaay cheaper than body shop’s! i got mine at landmark department store in the kikay section. it’s a korean/japanese brand :) i use it a couple of times a week, when i feel particularly dirty or oily. i think it’s helped my complexion a lot!

Meron pala!! Sige I’ll buy there when I need to replace this one na.

I’ve re-discovered The Body Shop last weekend and there are so many things I want to buy from there! Uh-oh…

Hi Ate Toni. Belated Happy Puso! for face scrub I often used st. ives but giving this face brush a try. maybe once or twice a week was enough for my oily skin. thanks for sharing this.

Hi Rachel! Thanks for the visit. Do check the brush out and if it’s to your liking, consider investing in a good one. I love mine!

this is gonna be a knock-out for A! haha… mahagilap nga. :) try ko muna tingnan yung sa body shop para alam ko ano hitsura at texture before i hunt for the cheaper alternative. meron kaya sa Landmark TriNoma?

I’m sure meron. Had I known there were less expensive face brushes, I might have gone for those. But a little spoiling oneself doesn’t hurt anyway. 😉
