Once you go black…

by

blackblackWould you be interested in black toilet paper?

This Renova TP apparently is a premium product, said to be “the first fashionable toilet paper.” Maybe we’ll see this on a runway. It sells for 2.17 Euros PER roll. That’s around PhP 130 or USD 3.20. I wouldn’t spend that much on toilet paper, gosh. I just use it wipe spills and stuff.

Aside from the little black roll, it also comes in red, orange and green. Maybe if it came in turquoise, I’d consider buying it. Nah.

But hey, they’d make for interesting emergency streamers. And interesting presents for those into goth or fashionistas.

Hehe, not really, parang medyo yucky yata, kahit pa black is always in. 😀

I suppose black is out for TP!

Makes for interesting “skidmarks”— sorry, did not mean to be gross.
I will stick with the plain old white paper and good old “tabo.”

Hahaha that’s fine. I thought the same thing. And yes, give me that old tabo anytime!

To those who don’t what tabo is, it’s a water dipper!

Me too. Somehow, black doesn’t seem right. Or any color other than white for that matter.

I know!!! Black just doesn’t look hygienic. Fashionable though!

I dunno… black toilet paper seems wrong, red toilet paper is unbearable!
Anyway, for some reason we do have turquoise-looking toilet paper at home. At least the color’s not bright but light. I found it strange at first, especially since our toilet has maroon tiles but I got used to it. It’s refreshing to look at. ‘Jade’ ata yung brand ng toilet paper.

Eek! No to red TP! No no no!
Oh where did you get your turquoise-looking TP?

I’ve heard of some dangers from the coloring they use to color the tp too. Another reason to stay away.

Yikes. Their advertising should say then that it’s non-toxic.

para ba itong crepe paper na pag nabasa eh nagkukulay? paano kung biglang pag-wipe mo, pagtingin mo sa kamay mo black na? you just wiped your whatever and colored it black. 😉

    Naku! Sana naman hindi nakakahawa!

I was thinking the same thing as Rina. Eh paano kung nanghawa? I think I’ll stick with plain old 3-ply virgin pulp :)

Korek. Hindi pumasok sa isip ko yun hawa. *shivers*

Hmm, interesting… However wouldn’t black toilet paper make it hard to identify which parts of the tissue are already dirty? Or if what you’re using is entirely clean for that matter. Like you can’t even see if what you might be putting on your face or mouth is 100% immaculate.
For practical purposes I’d stay away from this product.
But, I’d love any other color as long as it makes dirt easily recognizeable.
    Like neon green.

That’s right! You wouldn’t know if one part’s clean or not. Unless the tissue has color-changing features, helping you detect which parts are clean or not. :/

it seems like a cool thing to have and display, but not to use…

I have the nagging feeling that it will stain my butt hahaha

Korek! It might have some kind of black dye pala ‘no.
