Have you gone to Muji yet? It’s a lifestyle store that sells kitchen and dining items, cards and crafts, clothes and bags, accessories, furniture, skin care products and lots of other things. Its philosophy is “No brand quality goods.” I enjoy going to this store, even if it’s just to window shop. It’s refreshing to be around items that aren’t shouting out brand names. The items may not be branded but I like the brand’s personality of being subtle but efficient. Know what I mean?
The first time I went to Muji, I gravitated to the clothes and crafts areas. I ended up spending the most time at the food section though. Here’s what I got: Instant Green Tea Latte. It cost around Php275 for this pack of 125 grams.
The instructions on the pack were Japanese so I just winged it with the proportions. In a regular-sized mug filled with hot water, it took about 5 teaspoons of the green tea powder for me to achieve my desired green tea latte taste. SO GOOD.
Shrek would like this drink…
I love drinking a mug of steaming hot green tea latte close to bedtime. It’s delicious and relaxing.
Maybe I should buy myself a pair of fluffy Muji slippers to make this bedtime routine even more comfy. Hmmm.
Muji can be located at Bonifacio High Street and at the Powerplant Mall.

February 7, 2011 at 1:05 am (13 years ago)Mmmm. Looks yummy! So far, the latest green tea sensation I’ve tried is Happy Lemon’s green tea with rock salt cheese. Nakaka-addict, sobra. This MUJI tea looks like it’s addicting, too. 😀 Have you tried Serenitea naman?

December 31, 2012 at 3:40 pm (11 years ago)I tried this today. Haven’t found the right proportion yet…still lacked the green tea taste i’m looking for. Next time, I’ll try less milk, more green tea powder.
