Candy roses from my boys Valentine's Day flowers

Candy pastillas roses from the little boy, green and white flowers from the big boy.

I feel the love!

There’s a lot of hype about how commercialized Valentine’s is. Well, the hype can be true. Yes, it’s true you can (and should) show love 365 days a year. I don’t mind that thinking. But again it’s all perspective. How about showing extra love during some days? I’m sure nobody would mind that.

Besides, how many times do I get candy roses and a bouquet from my boys? :) The toddler and his Daddy picked the colors out together. The roses were candy pastillas and tasted ultra-sweet. I will eat it in small doses!

Go ahead and show those special somebodies of yours some extra love. There’s nothing wrong with a boost of extra sweetness for as long as it’s from the heart.

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone. <3

I get you, about the boost of extra sweetness. There’s nothing wrong with being extra sweet, indeed! I suppose there are just some people who find that a day dedicated to lovey-dovey sweetness is excessive. Still, this day is a reminded to keep that love going around the whole year round.

    Happy Valentine’s Day, Toni!

sooo sweet! and I’m so envious! hahaha…we don’t celebrate Valentine’s na kasi, and only the kids make it an “event” with their homemade projects.
