I feel the love!
There’s a lot of hype about how commercialized Valentine’s is. Well, the hype can be true. Yes, it’s true you can (and should) show love 365 days a year. I don’t mind that thinking. But again it’s all perspective. How about showing extra love during some days? I’m sure nobody would mind that.
Besides, how many times do I get candy roses and a bouquet from my boys? 
The toddler and his Daddy picked the colors out together. The roses were candy pastillas and tasted ultra-sweet. I will eat it in small doses!
Go ahead and show those special somebodies of yours some extra love. There’s nothing wrong with a boost of extra sweetness for as long as it’s from the heart.

I suppose there are just some people who find that a day dedicated to lovey-dovey sweetness is excessive. Still, this day is a reminded to keep that love going around the whole year round.

Maybe next year i can convince hubby to a date…hmm…
