I got this Christmast present from my officemate Maika. She filled this striped sock with lots of goodies that whisked me back to my childhood. Are any of these things familiar to you?

Hi! I'm Toni Tiu,
and I've been blogging at
at Wifely Steps since 2003. This started as a blog to help newly weds adjust to married life. It has evolved into a home and parenting blog. I write about things close to my heart -- good eats, good reads, family, marriage, and the little things that make everyday happy.

December 19, 2007 at 7:10 am (16 years ago)I was so happy when I found some plastic balloon at a local dollar store here in Colorado and I was able to introduce my little tisay to it. She enjoyed it for a little bit but it was so windy that day and the balloons just did not last long. Then, I also got her jack-stones and I have yet to show her the mechanics of it. She does not believe that I used to be a “champion” at this game.
