When was the last time you danced with your spouse?

by

En Tus Brazos (In Your Arms) is an animated story about a husband and wife who rekindle their passion for dance and each other. The storytelling through tango is subtle yet very moving. I gotta admit my eyes teared up a little after watching this. Super loved it. The animation is superb too.

Let me know how you feel about it.

*starts dancing to the tango in my head, the only tango I know since I have two left feet*

Thanks to Amy for the lead.

This reminds me of Shall We Dance starring Richard Gere, Jennifer Lopez and Susan Sarandon.

    Y’know, I haven’t seen that film!

Unfortunately, as much as I’d love to dance with my wife (and I’ve tried a lot of times) it just can’t happen. The thing is, my wife’s an excellent dancer while I, am just a spirited, try hard. =&
It goes well for just a few seconds as we start with a little swaying, until we eventually pick up our rhythms which very soon leads to us just laughing so hard as I start to do my very furious and heartfelt grooving…
    *sigh*

I know what you mean. I’m a terrible dancer, and try to avoid the dance floor as much as I can. Except if the music’s the type that no dance is the wrong dance. *L* You know, free-form or freestyle and stuff like that. But a structured dance like the swing or tango? Mercy me. It is one of my biggest frustrations.

Tango is a passionate dance. So this is a great way indeed to kick start the month of love.
This clip is very moving, I ought to start dancing again, with my hubby I hope.

I wish you well with the dancing. :)

Thanks for sharing this lovely video clip. I must admit, it’s been too long since I last danced with my husband.

Me too. We’re not really the dancing type, that’s why!
