November 29, 2008 at 6:34 am (15 years ago)I want to work related to environment and that’s my job now. I quit my job from a big multi-national to pursue the career I really wanted even if there’s no guarantee that I’ll get the same salary.
To repeat my question:

November 29, 2008 at 11:35 am (15 years ago)if i had enough resources on my own (say money), i wouldn’t mind a low-paying job as long as i enjoy it, but being realistic, i’d try the high-paying job. i can welcome the change in career path and it might even be the career for me (since i’m not entirely decided on what career do i really want :))

Would you last in a job you really love (like the actual work), even if you did not like your immediate colleagues (eg, team mates)? .. Follow up Q: Would you leave work if you do not like your work mates? Even if they don’t do you any harm.

November 30, 2008 at 3:35 pm (15 years ago)Yes in my previous work. My supervisor and I had a heated discussion over the phone and I tender my resignation through e-mail as soon as I got home. Then, I handed my formal resignation letter when I went to work the next day. Actually, I’m really planning to leave the company but I wanted to take my vacation before I tender my resignation so I can get the airfare allowance. But then, after the heated discussion I realized enough is enough.
What is your ideal job?

Yes, there’s nothing like learning new things from colleagues who are also team players in achieving the goals we have set for the children (and their parents) that we work with.
My line of work is stressful at times but there is nothing like a compliment on a job well done that erases all these stresses away

December 3, 2008 at 4:27 pm (15 years ago)I’ve gotten pretty high up the ladder at a relatively young age. I’m proud of that. I’m also proud that I stuck to one industry and learned its dynamics, and am now applying what I learned to a “sister” industry. I’m very happy with my career.
