November 15, 2008 at 3:19 am (15 years ago)For a very long time, I have never received a xmas gift from someone. I give myself my own gift. But the idea of Xmas is present is to open it during the xmas eve, so I’d say, open it on Xmas day.
Answer: I’d like another macbook.
Question: Do you buy presents that will surprise the person or you give them xmas gift just because it’s a tradition?

I have a brother who finally migrated to the States and then decided to spend his Christmas with us. It was a happy reunion. It was the first time we saw his daughter too.

Christmas day is spent going to my husband’s mom’s house in the morning and then to my parents later in the day. His dad’s birthday is two days before, so we do his stuff then (he wants it that way…)
Question: How long do your decorations stay up after Christmas day?

November 17, 2008 at 3:57 pm (15 years ago)Our decorations stay up until the Feast of the Three Kings. We have a tradition of leaving our shoes under the tree so that the “3 Kings” can fill them up with gifts or money.

I would want that really really huge Christmas tree at the Fort – and the color, sizzling red.
But at home, our Christmas tree usually looks as what any Christmas tree does.
It’s green with gold, silver, and red glittering ornaments around it. It usually has ball and stars around it.
But instead of a star on top, we usually put an angel.
QUESTION: If Santa’s wouldn’t be what he usually looks like, what do you think he would be?
