Ant in my Atis

by

I opened an atis and guess what greeted me?

Huge ant

A friggin’ huge ant! It freaked me out a little bit.

Ant in my Atis

Then again its presence was a testament to how sweet the atis was. Oh yes, how sweet it was!

Happy Monday! Hope your week is as sweet as this atis!

Atis used to be my favorite. I opened one one day and got a surprise like you did. It wasn’t an ant. I stopped eating atis since then. Problem is relatives still think I like them and send them over.

Atis? WOW! Over here we call them “anon” in Spanish and “sugar apple” (don’t get it) in English.

J!! No, the ant lost its fight. I flicked it away. Oh wait, it might have been the winner because it was in the fruit first!

how the heck did he get in there? they say, if you accidentally eat an ant, ‘pampaganda raw ng boses’. Try mo nga tones?

I don’t know how it got in there! There must’ve been a tiny hole in the fruit.

Eek, I didn’t try that and don’t want to try eating ants unless I absolutely have to. 😀

i hope you scraped off the part where the ant was…coz my mom told me that ants are just as dirty as cockroaches… just a little info… :)

I’m sorry, but what is an Atis? I’m here in Ohio and I have never heard of this fruit.

Hi there! An atis or sugar apple is a tropical fruit. :)
