Weekend Soiree #4: A game of comment interaction

by

The rules are easy. I will ask a question. The first person who comments will answer my question, and will leave a question for the next person to answer. This next person will answer that question, and leave a question for the next next person to answer. I am sure you get it! πŸ˜‰

To make things more fun, the questions have to reflect the chosen theme. For example, if the theme is “Mirrors,” all questions should be relate to mirrors. When was the last time you looked into a mirror? If your mirror reflection would tell you something, would you want to hear it? As much as possible, let’s not repeat the questions for added fun! You are also welcome to play more than once!

Cheers to our fourth weekend soiree!

The theme: SHOES

My question for Person #1: Look at the shoes you’re wearing right now. If they could speak, what would they tell you?

I keep them to house the shoes and keep most of the dust out. : ) The rack looks better with boxes too instead of just shoes.

last pair of shoes I bought were slip on wedge sandals last summer. Brown wedge heels with white straps. Gosh, I can’t believe I hadn’t bought shoes in so long! I was looking at boots before winter, but never found one I liked or fit me right :(

I feel sexy wearing strappy sandals with stiletto heels because it makes me taller and gives that impression of elongated legs.

I’m not sure how many pairs I own, but I regularly wear about 3-5 pairs: green flip flops, purple ballet flats, brown fancy ballet flats, tennis shoes, slippers!

oh my i was hoping to answer the other question haha… now I might have to spill some beans here.
9 years ago I was in Aspen, Co. My boss had a big xmas party I had no evening shoes to wear. I was sent to town and get a pair. What do you expect in Aspen? I got the first shoes that fitted black heels velvet…9 years ago it was $350 ouchhh but hey I did not pay… so basically i would say it does not answer to that… but that pair is the most expensive ever.

Ok heeled ankle length boots which I bought in Switzerland few years ago fine leather 4 years now I still wear them… price cant the exact it was almost 200 Swiss Francs but now I can tell you for 4 years its worth every franc on it…

Comfort is my first priority. My shoes are mostly flats, sneakers, mocassins – the best for walking.

I bought this sweet pair of black shoes with kitten heels. It cost about P1,800 — a good price, very much worth it even though the shoes look positively simple.

Yes, but I don’t think they’d take me to Kansas, seeing they’re red chucks. I’ll probably end up in Seattle instead.

Have you ever bought a pair of shoes then regretted it?

no i don’t. my brother and I don’t like the design of Crocs. Although even before it got famous, I saw culinary students at ISCAHM wearing those. So if the chef during that time required use to wear Crocs (for the short course I enrolled at) I would probably buy and wear those. :)

At a Bass store in Makati. Those brown, sturdy shoes are so comfy yet stylish. Wished I brought myself another pair before leaving Manila. :(

This is fun. First time to join and I like this topic…

Nothing in particular but I’d be curious about Sara Jessica Parker’s collection. I used to watch Sex and the City and in that series she has a collection of expensive shoes – manolos and others. I’m sure she have a good collection in real life. I even remember one particular episode wherein she didn’t have any savings but she had more than 100 pairs of shoes. I don’t wear stiletto though.

Do you give away your old shoes especially those that are in very good condition, or you just keep them for collection?
