The Sims 3: Creating More Addicts in 2009

by

Holy cow. There have been rumors about The Sims 3 for a long time now. There is truth to those rumors. EA Games just released details of the much-anticipated game in their website. It’s for real. The Sims 3 really is happening.

From what I read, here’s what you can expect from the new game:

1. Seamless neighborhood architecture — I guess you can roam around town and visit shops and restaurants. That’s how it looks from the screenshots. Can we knock on neighbor’s doors perhaps? That’d be cool!

2. Create Any Sim You Can Imagine — Physically, you’ll have more choices in customizing your Sim. I suppose you can make it look exactly like you. There’s also an “innovative and proprietary Realistic Personality System” wherein you can add more quirks to your character, giving it a more distinct personality. You won’t be limited by how neat, outgoing, playful or active your Sim is. There’ll be a lot more layers now! A complex Sim could be a good thing.

3. New Unlimited Customization — You can now customize your wallpaper, floors and furniture giving your humble (or not so humble) abode more personality.

In a nutshell, The Sims 3 offers more discovery and customization features. Your one-of-a-kind Sim can explore more locations and react to situations with a style and sass all her own. Ah, imagine all those possibilities! Imagine all the time you’ll be spending on your computer…

Check out The Sims 3’s official website.

I can smell the frenzy of Sims addicts building up.

Hahaha mukhang malapit na ako mag-ganyan!!
