2. What lowers your stress/blood pressure/anxiety level?
Staring at the fishies. Writing in my journal. Blogging. Reading magazines. Going to the spa. Getting my nails done. Getting a haircut. Working out at the gym. Playing Sims 2. Sleeping. Holding hands with my husband.

3. Tag 5 friends and ask them to post it in theirs.

Hey, I’ve posted this pic before!

1. Rationale behind what we’re seeing?
They’re a bunch of cookbooks I have piled up near my kitchen. I place them in a basket sometimes but for picture purposes, I had them pose for the camera. Hehe.

2. Most recommended?
Cooking with Nora Daza. A classic!

3. Cookbook that made you what you were?
Nothing in particular! My interest in cooking was jumpstarted when I got married. No single cookbook made me what I am now — an amateur cook who loves experimenting. :)

4. Porniest cookbook?
I don’t own one. Care to share it with me? Haha!

5. Sophie’s Choice cookbook?
What does this mean?

6. If you were a cookbook, what cookbook would you be?
30-minute meals! I don’t like spending too much time by the stove. I’m not too fond of the heat.

7. If your cookbook were extremely valuable, so valuable you might hide it with the other valuables, where would that place be?
My husband’s toy shelf!

I’m tagging all those who are wearing blue as they read this! Why? Just because!

I’ve read ‘When Chic Hits The Fan’ already! Did you figure out the blind items? I could tell you who they are. I discovered a forum which lists who the blind items are. =p Oh, and I read somewhere that the author is working on the second version!

hi toni, i was already tagged by renee for the first one, my answers can be found here. since i don’t own a lot of cookbooks, i’ll answer the 3rd tag about the books na lang hehe…

Number of Books on the Shelf: I think about 10. I don’t buy a lot of books anymore, baka hindi ko maiuwi sa Pinas lahat, hehe. So I collect ebooks and audiobooks instead because they’re easier to transport and I can easily share them with my friends.

Those that I own/bought: I own all of them, though some were given to me. Including the ones back in Pinas, I think I can already make a downpayment for a car with the amount I’ve spent buying books. I’ve never scrimped on books eh, kahit hindi kumain basta may book 😛

    5 Last Books I Bought:
    1. Harry Potter and the HBP (JK Rowling)
    2. The Undomestic Goddess (S. Kinsella)
    3. Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister (G. Maguire)
    4. Dress Your Family In Curdoroy and Denim (D. Sedaris)
    5. Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell (S. Clarke)

    Books I’m Reading Now:
I want to start The Rule of Four (I. Caldwell) or 1776 (D. McCullough) but I keep getting sidetracked by other books, (see above) hehe. Also, I re-read Harry Potter and the GOF, as well as Suzanne’s Diary for Nicholas (J. Patterson) because I saw the movie recently.

    Last 5 Books Read:
    Aside from the those above…
    1. Eats, Shoots, and Leaves (L. Truss) – nakaka-conscious tuloy mag-ingles, hehehe
    2. Cause Celeb (H. Fielding) – i had to crawl through this one. it’s been sitting on my shelf for so long, i had to end it 😀
    3. Hey, Nostradamus (D. Coupland) – i hope to give coupland another chance
    4. Happiest Toddler on the Block (H. Karp) – karp is my bestfriend
    5. Smart Couples Finish Rich (D. Bach) – because hubby’s too tamad to read it, sayang naman 😀

    Books I’ll Cherish:
    1. PS I Love You (Sweet Dreams #1) – because it got me started reading
    2. My Ayn Rand Books – for my personal philosophy
    3. Looking Back (A. Ocampo) – i learned to appreciate Phil history so much
    4. The Alchemist (P. Coehlo) – just because it taught many of my non-reading friends to start reading
    5. A Natural History of Love (D. Ackerman) – love as the great intangible
    6. Pilgrim at Tinker Creek (A. Dillard) – Annie inspires me to search for the most beautiful words, always.
    7. The Prophet (K. Gibran) – a bit of wisdom doesnt hurt
    8. Love Poems (P. Neruda) – should be self-explanatory
    9. Goodnight Moon (M. Wise Brown) – because my daughter loves it
    10. Einstein’s Dreams (A. Lightman) – ethereal physics, beautiful images of a genius’ dreams.

I think I’ll stop at 10, baka maubos ang space, hehehe 😀
