Friday Trio

by

TGIF! Here are three links for you to visit over the weekend. Enjoy!

Fifty Word Fiction. A collection of submitted short stories composed of only fifty words. Some are really beautiful. It’s wonderful to see how people can weave magic with a fifty word story.

The Care and Feeding of a Dream. Beautiful words from a talented illustrator named Monica Lee. She shares insightful reflections on how to nurture that creativity within you to realize your dream. Words of inspiration!

Before Sunrise script. This is one of my all-time favorite movies. This is a film full of quotable quotes that every romantic should know. If you haven’t seen this film, watch it. Then watch Before Sunset.

Happy weekend!

I’ve linked up Monica Lee’s feeding of a dream on my blog last year. Very, very insightful.

Wow thanks for the Before Sunrise script.
Now if you can find the Before Sunset too I will be eternally grateful to you for making me smile :)
I love those movies and I’m currently looking for my own Jesse to sail into the Sunset with. Hehehe

i loved before sunrise! saw it in 95 (96?) and, since then, could never picture julie delpy as anything else but virginal. sabi ko nga sa hubby ko, what it lacked in musical scoring, it more than made up for in romantic quotes… and ethan hawke, hehe.

Loved this line (by Celine): If there’s any kind of magic in this world, it must be in the attempt of understanding someone, sharing something. I know, it’s almost impossible to succeed, but… who cares, really? The answer must be in the attempt.

Pao : A multi-blogger? Just like me! Hehehe. See you around in the blogosphere!

petite : Hi Petite! You’re welcome! :) I’m trying to make this “Friday Trio” a regular thing. Do come back next Fri for more links!

tin : I’ve had that site bookmarked for the loooooooooongest time. I figured that it would be best to share it with others too!

Daphne: Sadly I haven’t found a Before Sunset script yet. Rest assured I will post a link to that when I find it!!! Good luck with finding your “little Jesse” :) And who knows maybe you’ll sing that someone a waltz too! “Let me sing you a waltz about a one night stand…” Ay sana hindi lang one night stand pala. 😉

meeyagirl: I LOVE THAT QUOTE!!! It is definitely one of my favorite Before Sunrise quotes EVER. I saw Before Sunrise when I was 20 or 21. Saw it on Laser Disc pa! And I watched it alone with a glass of White Russian on one hand and a cracker with brie cheese on the other. I am really glad I watched it on my own. I got to absorb the quotes much more and the film resonated with me more kasi nobody was beside me asking ‘Ano raw?’ hahaha!

anj: Hehehe, I like finding stuff on the net. Isa yan sa mga de-stressing activities ko. :)
