August 6, 2005 at 12:30 pm (19 years ago)i loved before sunrise! saw it in 95 (96?) and, since then, could never picture julie delpy as anything else but virginal. sabi ko nga sa hubby ko, what it lacked in musical scoring, it more than made up for in romantic quotes… and ethan hawke, hehe.
Loved this line (by Celine): If there’s any kind of magic in this world, it must be in the attempt of understanding someone, sharing something. I know, it’s almost impossible to succeed, but… who cares, really? The answer must be in the attempt.

meeyagirl: I LOVE THAT QUOTE!!! It is definitely one of my favorite Before Sunrise quotes EVER. I saw Before Sunrise when I was 20 or 21. Saw it on Laser Disc pa! And I watched it alone with a glass of White Russian on one hand and a cracker with brie cheese on the other. I am really glad I watched it on my own. I got to absorb the quotes much more and the film resonated with me more kasi nobody was beside me asking ‘Ano raw?’ hahaha!
