Sebastian’s Cake Batter Ice Cream and Frozen Yakult

by

Did you like eating cake batter off the mixer paddles when you were a kid? Do you like Yakult? If you answered “yes” to both questions, perhaps you’ll enjoy these two yummylicious ice cream flavors — Cake Batter Ice Cream and Fro-Ya from Sebastian’s Ice Cream.

Cake Batter Ice Cream

This reminded me of the cakes my grandmother made from scratch. The ice cream has swirls of marshmallow frosting and rainbow sprinkles. It was sweet and delicious! A candle on top of the scoops would have been apt for this ice cream experience.

happy birthday ice cream!

Sebastian’s Cake Batter ice cream makes me happy, happy.

Now on to another childhood favorite. Yakult! Sebastian’s has a Fro-Ya or Frozen Yakult offering.

Frozen Yakult

It’s really rich. Just a few spoonfuls of Fro-Ya was enough for me! It did take me back to my childhood though. The “tantananantantan” Yakult stinger kept playing in my head while I was eating this dessert.

It’s great that Sebastian’s Ice Cream explores innovative ice cream flavors. I’m happy their Blue Cheese ice cream is still available. It’s become one of my all-time faves.

Which one do you think you’ll try first: cake batter ice cream or frozen Yakult? They’re both delicious and a refreshing change from your usual chocolate and vanilla options. :)

That looks so tasty and creamy! Yes, I’m one of those kids who would taste more than my fair share of cake batter off the mixer, so I’m sure I’d enjoy that. But I’ve never had Yakult. I should check our local Asian market to see if they have some.
