Sadness is the last orange

Sadness is the last piece of orange

The last raisin in a slice of raisin bread. The last spoonful of bagoong when I’ve still got plenty of sliced green mangoes. The last grape. The last kangkong in Sinigang.

And yes, the last orange.

Sadness.

😀

Oh, you know what I mean.

Er, do you?

Or the last bit of Ben & Jerry’s “Cherry Garcia”, from a pint that you’ve been hiding from your family in the back of the freezer behind the frozen peas. 😉

yes. it’s what i call the “bitin-ness” of something i really love :)
it’s that one last sip of coffee when i still want to think some more, stay a bit more inside a cozy cafe.

and it’s that one last bag of kisses with almonds that i can’t seem to open because it’s the last pack i have…we don’t have hershey’s here in australia (indeed super dooper sadness!)

I know what you mean. And when you have kids they always ask for the last bite or piece of whatever. Kahit gustong gusto kong kainin pinagbibigyan ko na lang. Pwera na lang kung caramel sundae…walang pwedeng mag-share..hehehe :)

Hahaha! Sige pagnag-McDo tayo together hindi ako makikishare ng caramel sundae with you. LOL!

I love your site, Toni! It’s one of the few sites I’ve bookmarked since I always check it out. I always watch out for your no-fuss, yummy recipes. I’ve tried your cheesecake recipe just recently and it was a huge hit with my family.. so thanks a bunch!!

Ooh Almond Roca. It’s been awhile since I’ve had that.

Thank you for the kind words, Pling! I’ll share more recipes sometime when I get around to cooking. :)
