Quiznos Philippines: Where We Get Our Sandwich Fix

by

We head over to Quiznos when we’re craving for sandwiches. It’s a fastfood restaurant that specializes in toasted sandwiches. My husband is a HUGE fan of this place. “Quiznos again?!,” I’d ask him, after learning where he’d like to grab a quick dinner. Yep. We’re at Quiznos practically once a week. I can’t really blame my husband. Quiznos sandwiches are delicious!

What We Eat at Quiznos

The meatball sub pictured above is my all-time favorite. It’s got Italian meatballs, Mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese and Marinara sauce. Oh man, I’m getting hungry just remembering how this tastes. DELISH. This is one of my favorite comfort foods.

My husband usually orders Quiznos’ Honey Mustard Chicken sub. That’s a sandwich with chicken, bacon, all-natural cheddar cheese, honey mustard. The last time we went though he decided to change his usual order. He got a Chicken Carbonara sandwich instead.

If the pasta dish were a sandwich…

The Chicken Carbonara sub has chicken, bacon, Mozzarella cheese, sauteed mushrooms, Parmesan cheese and Alfredo sauce. Sounds filling, looks filling, is filling.

We like our sandwiches a little spiceh. Good thing Quiznos has squeeze bottles full of hot sauce!

Check!

Yup, Quiznos’ sandwiches are toasty indeed. I also like that you can choose what bread you want for your sandwich. We usually pick wheat. I forget what the other options are… Italian, I think? Whoops. What makes the sandwiches so toasty-terrific is this machine they have:

Can I get this for the house?

Pretty nifty, huh? After they partially prepare your order, they stick the bread into this machine. It comes out the other end toasty, and it’s then filled with veggies. So cool. I wonder if they’ve tried making S’mores sandwiches with that machine.

Soup and sandwiches — great combo!

My husband is addicted to their Chicken Noodle Soup. One order isn’t enough for him.

We eat at the Bonifacio High Street branch; haven’t tried the other branches yet. I’d like to say that I’m looking forward to trying out their other sandwiches but I can’t. I’m fiercely loyal to the Meatballs in Marinara Sauce sandwich.

If you don’t know what to get, ClicktheCity.com has a quiz: Which Quiznos Sandwich Best Matches Your Personality? Sounds interesting, ‘no? I answered the quiz and the result was: “The Traditional.” Quiznos has a sandwich called “The Traditional” and it contains roast beef, chicken breast, ham, cheddar, black olives, lettuce, tomatoes and ranch dressing. It sounds awesome but I think I’ll stick with my Meatball sandwich a little bit more before I go for this Quiz(no) result. 😛 Here’s the link to the quiz: Which Quiznos Sandwich Best Matches Your Personality?

Take the quiz and let me know what your results are! Here’s the Quiznos menu. I got the image link from their Facebook page:

For sure we will be dropping by Quiznos BGC next week. You know what I’ll be ordering! :) Which sandwiches do you think you’d go for?

I actually had a substandard experience when I tried Quizno’s for the 1st time (this was in Texas though) and have decided to stick with Subway instead. After your post, I might just give them another chance.

Btw, how do they compare to Subway?

      Took the quiz.

      Get the Traditional
As the name suggests, you’re just like a traditional sandwich that packs everything in it and is hard not to love. If you’re conservative in picking your food, get the Traditional that’s filled with three kinds of meat: roast beef, chicken breast, and ham, as well as a handful of cheddar slices, black olives, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and buttermilk ranch. This is recommended for play-it-safe first-timers who are having a hard time picking a sub.

Hmm… Sounds good but I’ll probably try them one-by-one and decide from there :))

The toasted buns make a lot of difference! I also had the meatball sandwich from Subway before (from way back when), but Quiznos’ meatball sandwich is better because there are more meatballs and more sauce. Yummeh.

This weekend, I just discovered there is a Quiznos branch at Trinoma. It is quite a small place located at the top floor where the cinemas are. I just had lunch so I didn’t drop by their stall. Maybe next time. 😀
