Portobello Mushroom Burger

If you’re a burger lover and a health nut, I’ve got the burger just for you! Well, I don’t have it, but The Cafe Mediterranean does. Their Portobello Mushroom Burger is delicious and hearty, and most importantly good for you! (Just do away with the fries.)

What it says
What it says.

I’m not a vegetarian but I am finding ways to eat healthier without losing on the experience of deliciousness. This burger was yummy! My best friend who’s vegetarian (on some days) gave this burger a thumbs up.

This is one of my fave dishes at Cafe Med. I love that the Portobello mushrooms are big and chewy, not chopped into little pieces like other mushroom burgers. My only suggestion is for them to serve the burger with a healthier side dish such as baked vegetable chips or olive-oil fried carrot sticks. You up the health quotient and still keep the overall yumminess of the dish. 😀

Cafe Med’s Portobello Mushroom Burger is love. ♥

Note (4/26, 8 am): I shared this entry with the guys at Cafe Med, and they shared that you can ask the servers to replace the fries with carrot sticks or a side salad. Yey! Here’s their official Facebook page in case you want to “Like” them.

We’ve made portobello burgers at home. I added lettuce, a slice of brie, some grilled/roasted squash and bell peppers. Now I want to make them again!
