“Where have we met before?”
“Maybe one event. But I can’t remember which one.”
“You know, maybe we haven’t met yet. We just feel like we have because we interact a lot online.”
So went part of my conversation with blogger Frannywanny. We had a good laugh over that. I love meeting bloggers whose blogs I’ve been following for ages. Fran’s blog is one of the food blogs I go to when searching for food recos, so meeting her was a treat.
Our chance meeting happened a few days ago during a workshop. I was one of the speakers and facilitators, and she was part of the team we were giving the workshop to. She came up to me first and went, “Are you Toni…?” I cut her off and said, “Are you Frannywanny?!” Or something like that. I was too excited to remember. She’s super nice and such a joy to talk to.We didn’t get to talk long though because, well, there was the workshop!
Perhaps one day we will run into each other at an event. Then we’ll catch up again and this time Fran, we’re going to be talking FOOD! YUMMY food.
