When I think of peaches, the first words that come to mind are: refreshing, sweet, indulgent. When I think of cream, the first words that come to mind are: rich, comforting, indulgent. No wonder combining peaches and cream in a dish makes for a delightfully seductive experience. It will always be rich and indulgent, but never too posh. The rich persona of the dish is always within reach (say that 5x fast). Perhaps this is why they make any dish extra-special but still comfortably homey.
