Hello Friday!

by

How was your week? Mine has been all kinds of nuts. I’m thankful next week will be much shorter and I’ll spend more time with my baby. Yay!

I do answer comments, but haven’t gotten around to answering a lot recently. I will reply to them! I’m no snob.

Twitter has been more of my friend lately. Microblogging has been friendlier to me, schedule-wise, hassle-wise. It helped keep my sanity too as I knew right away that I didn’t imagine yesterday’s earthquake. As soon as the earth stopped shaking, I tweeted and saw that a lot of my friends tweeted the same thing. I hope you guys are safe!

Met up with an old blog pal a couple of days ago. Haze and I have been blog friends for about a year now. We turned to each other for support during our pregnancies. Our baby boys are a month apart! It’s always fun meeting blogger friends you’ve established a good friendship with online. Genuine blog friends are hard to find! I hope to catch up with her again!

Any plans for Holy Week? I want to take Timmy on Visita Iglesia, but I’m not sure how safe that is. There have been a lot of tigdas hangin (roseola infantum) cases lately, so I think I’d rather stay home. What do you guys have planned?

Well, Friday calls. Tons of meetings and stuff to arrange. Have a good weekend, everyone.

Food for thought today: What if the world was moving in your direction? What would you plan to do about that?

Cheers!

aww! thanks for the mention! hehe has it been a year? wow!!!

naku, i’m totally scared of that roseola thing. even if my 2 boys went through it, it was so scary, the high fevers, the fussy baby then the rashes! i had some friends who had to confine their kids in the hospital. and as much as possible i don’t want that. better to keep timmy indoors for now. he’s too young pa. he might get bored or fussy. hehe been there, done that. and learned the hard way haha!

    see you soon!! :)

When do we meet again? Sushi right? Haha! 😀

Fabio got tigdas hangin because we brought him him to a Filipino gathering when he was around 6months old =/ it was very scary to see all those rashes on his body, accompanied with fever. So I think it’s better not to expose him to so much people (close contact especially) while he’s still small, Toni. Maybe you can try it next year :) And of course, since he’s not fully immunized yet, the less exposed he is, the better.

Anyways, we’ll just be spending Holy Week here at home. Not that much places to visit here.

We stayed home nalang. Better safe than sorry!

Blog pal meet up will always be exciting. Too bad I didn’t have much time last week (weeklong vacay) to meet online pals (in Twitter, blog, Plurk). Naku, hindi na rin ako gaano nakakarespond sa comments. :( Need to find time soon.
