20 things. Image from http://www.sxc.hu.I got tagged by the beautiful JMom. Interesting questions! And I’m tagging 5 of you too. 😉

1. How often do you blog? Much too often.

2. Online Alias: Macaroni Girl. A cup of warm tarragon tea to the one who can guess why.

3. Have you ever stood up for someone you hardly knew? When I watch movies, I always shush noisy people. I believe I stand up for all those who are annoyed by unnecessary chatter. It takes all of my poise and patience not to fling popcorn at the noisy ones.

4. What do you do most often when you are bored? Read fashion magazines and pretend I’m shopping. Oh, I realized just how sad that is.

5. When bathing, which do you wash first? My feet. I always do this so my body adjusts to the water temperature first.

6. Have you ever been awake for 48 hours straight? Yes, during business pitches!

7. What color looks best on you? I think red does. But I like wearing turquoise because the color brightens up my face. Hint: Wear a turquoise-colored necklace or earrings when you’re feeling a bit drab.

8. What’s your favorite alcoholic drink? Red wine. I also like Red Horse. ITO ANG TAMA.

9. Do you believe in heaven and hell as a real place that each of us will go to after death? I believe we all go to Heaven. How long a time before we reach our own Heaven though differs from soul to soul. I just read The Lovely Bones and it made me reflect on my thoughts on Heaven. I’ll tell you about the book sometime.

10. Do you find that you have more online friends than offline friends? I define friends as those who “accept your past, understand your present and believe in your future.” Yes, I got that off a stationery pad from my youth. So, nope.

11. What was your favorite subject in school? In high school, I liked English. I liked studying English Literature and World Literature. In college, I liked Statistics.

12. Are you a perfectionist? Only when it comes to business presentations. I cannot take a misspelling or a misplaced punctuation mark. Que horror!

13. Do you spend more than you can afford? Yes. I am a toned down version of Becky Bloom on Confessions of a Shopaholic.

14. Is it better to have loved and lost than never to have loved before? Yes. As my favorite quote from City of Angels goes, “I would rather have had one breath of her hair, one kiss from her mouth, one touch of her hand, than eternity without it. One.” *a single tear rolls down Nicolas Cage’s cheek… hagulhol naman ako sa sinehan…*

15. Do you consider yourself creative? Yes. But not with everything. I lack the interior design and the fashion style genes.

16. Do you give yourself the credit you deserve? No.

17. Do you donate time or money to charities? CRIBS. I haven’t gone back to CRIBS in awhile due to a cold though.

18. Have you recently done something that you’ve criticized others for doing? Eat too much. Shame on me.

19. What’s on your mind? I just realized my ears warm up a lot when I’m put on the spot.

20. Say one nice thing about the person who tagged you and the five people that you are going to tag. JMom tagged me. I think she’s an awesome lady — she’s got a magical green thumb, a beautiful family, and her kitchen delights always look delicious. If only I could take a trip to Durham and drink margaritas on the rocks with her in her backyard.

And now I’m tagging:
(1) Via. She’s a dear friend who’s like a porcelain doll with a heart of gold and a smile of an angel.
(2) Bridget. I adore his candor, wit and intellect.
(3) Sachiko. Sexy, sexy, sexy Sachi. Uninhibited, friendly and always a blast to correspond with.
(4) Lissa. My old friend whose piano playing I adore, whose home I admire, whose friendship I treasure.
(5) J Jo. My youngest sister who hasn’t updated her blog in more than 2 months. She’s intelligent and compassionate, and a wonderful English teacher.

If you weren’t tagged, feel free to answer the 20 Questions too!

That’s one of my biggest pet peeves – noisy people in the theaters. If it’s inevitable like noisy kids at a kids movie, then that’s acceptable but when you’ve got people yakking on their phones or people with babies during an adult movie? C’mon now!

I once got into a “thing” with a teeny-bop, he was throwing pop corn over the older folks. I gave him two warnings but by the third, it was on. And he was out!
