The game is easy! I will ask a question. The first person who comments will answer my question, and will leave a question for the next person to answer. This next person will answer that question, and leave a question for the next next person to answer. I am sure you get it! π
To make things more fun, the questions have to reflect the chosen theme. For example, if the theme is PLAYTIME, all questions should relate to that topic. Where you better as a hider or a seeker? Which childhood games did you excel in? As much as possible, letβs not repeat the questions for added fun! You are also welcome to play more than once.
Let’s put on big smiles for our 23rd soiree!
The theme: CARTOONS
My question for Person #1: Did you have any cartoon crushes?
ganns
June 14, 2008 at 11:14 am (16 years ago)FIRST!!! (I’ve always wanted to say that!)
I always thought Daphne of “Scooby Doo” was hot. She and the Scarlett Witch. Oh, and the Black Canary. Dami din pala, ano?
Next question: What was the very first cartoon that scared you?
Listerart
June 14, 2008 at 12:02 pm (16 years ago)First cartoon that scared me…it would have to be a portion of the animated move ‘Heavy Metal’ from 1981. it was about a WWII B-17 bomber and some supernatural occurrences. Wikipedia says:
“B-17: A World War II bomber makes a difficult bombing run with heavy damage and casualties. As the bomber limps home, the Loc-Nar rams itself into the plane, and raises the dead crewmembers as rampaging, flesh-hungry zombies. The pilot barely escapes in time, only to land on an island populated by zombified airmen…”

I was a little kid and secretly watched it late one night on HBO with an irresponsible babysitter. Lots of zombies, blood and guts in cartoon form. Now as a 30something, I have it on DVD.
My cartoon related question is —
What was your favorite Saturday morning cartoon? Mine was officially the back-to-back cartoon hour of ‘Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends’ and ‘The Incredible Hulk’ from the mid 80’s. THE best.

June 14, 2008 at 1:45 pm (16 years ago)i loved the Super Friends…esp the twins. Imagine all super heroes saving the planet against the evils of the world. Batman, Wonder woman and Superman with the Flash fighting the villains. It was a great show to watch.
question: which modern day cartoon do you like to watch on tv either alone and/or with the kids?

question: is there any cartoon show that you think shouldn’t even be watched by kids?

June 14, 2008 at 6:04 pm (16 years ago)The children shouldn’t be exposed to ‘The Cramp Twins’. It doesn’t try to instill good values.
