Weekend Soiree #16: A game of comment interaction

by

The first rule is easy. I will ask a question. The first person who comments will answer my question, and will leave a question for the next person to answer. This next person will answer that question, and leave a question for the next next person to answer. I am sure you get it! ๐Ÿ˜‰

To make things more fun, the questions have to reflect the chosen theme. For example, if the theme is GAMES, all questions should relate to gaming. Were you better at patintero or piko? Have you ever played Diner Dash? As much as possible, letโ€™s not repeat the questions for added fun! You are also welcome to play more than once.

The second rule is very neighborly. After you answer and write a question, visit the person who comments right BEFORE you. If that person does not have a blog, visit any of the commenters’ blogs. When youโ€™re at their blog, leave a comment and some nice cheer. You might make a new friend!

Let’s go wild with the sixteenth weekend soiree!

The theme: THERE IS NO THEME – ask anything!

My question for Person #1: Would you rather have licorice for your hair or chocolate eclairs for your fingers?

my dream job would be something connected to travelling, be it as a researcher or analyst or production staff or crew..as long as i get to see new places and meet different people.

Q: if there’s any wish that you want at this very moment, what would it be?

Hotpots – any steaming asian soup dish will work wonders for my palate. Pho ga, or pho bo, or thai lemongrass seafood soup, or sinigang na albacora, yummm!

Q; if toni gave you the chance of choosing next w/end’s theme, what will it be?

Many to Mention. I’m not picky, I eat almost anything but I don’t like food that are very spicy or has many spices that are not common in the Philippines. I also wouldn’t eat exotic dishes.

Do you collect things? What are they?

Yes. Books mostly although I have a lot of “junk” my wife’s dying to get rid of from old toys to ornaments and trinkets inspired by numerous short lived interests.

What’s your favorite TV series? What made it awesome for you?

My favorite T.V. series would be That’s So Raven (Disney show…hey, I’m still a kid! :D).
It’s not only funny, but it’s unlike the other “tween” t.v. shows. That’s why it’s awesome for me.

What is your number one guilty pleasure? (hehehe)

If I were to choose next weeks theme it would be about “childhood dreams and nightmares’.

Question: If life was like a box of chocolates, which piece with what filling would you choose to bite on first and why? Wah?

tough question! I had to really think about that one… I wish someone had taught me that exercise doesn’t have to be onerous, and it doesn’t have to involve teams or competitions. I love walking through the bush, and would love to be fitter to go for longer tramps and so on, so I wish someone had taught me that walking is a great way of exercising, instead of being forced into tennis lessons and playing netball. Alternatively, I’d love to have learnt a little more coordination, seeing as that was a large part of why I hated playing sports so much!

Now for my question… along similar lines actually, now that we’re on the topic: What is the one thing you will do/have done differently with your kids than what your parents did, because you are adamant that they were wrong and you would do better with your kids?

I want to teach my kids about proper money management, saving and attaining financial freedom/independence. I want them to be financially literate at an early age. I can’t blame my parents because they are also not financially literate but I’m glad that I’ll be able to teach my kids how to be wiser in handling their finances.

Do you have a financial goals and do you regularly save money?
