Here are some movie and book updates!

I’m also sharing that our upcoming weekend’s soiree theme is the Twilight series: Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse. So prepare those questions! My only request is for you not to post any Breaking Dawn spoilers. Theories are acceptable, but don’t spoil the fun for those who haven’t read it yet. 😉 Okeydokey? Thanks!

– Want to see an extended ballet studio scene? Let’s shriek along with the comic con fans!

– The Twilight cast, author and director rocked the Comic con! Here are their interviews in three parts.

– Gorgeous pictures of characters Embry (Krys) and Sam Uley (Solomon Trimble) by Amy Howe. See them here.

– IMDB updates its Twilight Photo Gallery.

On the books:

– There’s a funny blog called My Life as a Teenage Vampire. It’s written by a fictional angsty Edward Cullen. Really funny stuff!

– It’s fun meeting new Twilighters. Hi to Plurker carambs! 😀

– Breaking Dawn’s release in the Philippines is on Aug. 4. Have you reserved a copy yet? I went to the National Bookstore near my office so I could troop over during my lunch break (or early morning coffee break…). I’m also hoping that I don’t have that many meetings so I can go home early and curl up with my new book!

I read the Twilight fans didn’t make a good impression on the other people at Comic Con. First of all the shrieking was annoying, and some Twilighters wore shirts that said, “I don’t read Comics, I’m just here for Twilight”. Way to insult 90% of the rest of the people there, who grew up reading comics and enjoy attending this event every year!

But you know what, I think they’re overdoing the publicity for this movie. The HP camp is making a smarter move: start releasing the trailers and public appearances about 100 days before the movie premieres.

Oh that sucks! Tsk. I wouldn’t blame the other Comic Con guys if they were annoyed by the Twilight fans!

I also feel that there’s too much hype about the film. But then again I’m not helping any. Haha!

I’ve heard of the book before but just in passing then 2 days ago my bestfriend mentioned the books and she has copies of all 3 (Twilight, New Moon & Eclipse)! I borrowed them from her and I’m now halfway through the 3rd book already! I’m hooked, hehe! I texted her to tell her that I’m in love with Edward & papakagat na ako, hehehe!(“,) Watching the trailers is really exciting since we get to see the characters ‘live’ but I really hope & pray that the movie does the book justice.

I pray that too! With all the hype it’s being given, it better be dang good!

Twilight is my favorite movie. it also inspired the HBO television series Trueblood because of the popularity of the Twlight Saga.
