The 25 Random Things Tag

My cousin tagged me on Facebook, but I want to blog it too!  Could you leave your answers in the comments section? I want to know 25 random things about you too!

This ended up to be a pretty good self-reflection. I  did the tag during my lunch hour, and now, well, I want to go home. Ha ha!

1. I was told my power color is red so I’m trying to build more red into my wardrobe. Red top count so far: 1. Why one? Well…

2. I HATE shopping for clothes. Someone get me a stylist please.

3. BUT I do want to check out Forever 21 in Megamall just to see if there’s anything that’s nice for me.

4. Megamall makes me feel claustrophobic though, to think it’s got mega-space. So many people.

5. I went back to wearing contact lenses because my glasses always slip down my nose when I change Timmy’s nappy. I figured better to switch now than to have eyeglasses full of poop.

6. I write down my credit card balance on a post-it and stick it on my office board.

7. This reminds me of how close or far away I am to LIBERATION.

8. I own only four pairs of shoes. Black, another black pair, beige and red. One of the black ones is going bad, the red one is sira na on the inside.

9. I love Nine West even if I own only two pairs of shoes from their store. Super classic and comfortable.

10. I don’t get the fascination for bags and shoes that cost over P10,000.

11. If I had P10,000, I’d pay part of my credit card bill so I can update my post-it (see #6) and be happier (see #7).

12. I was so busy the past month I didn’t realize my office calendar was still on March. July na pala?

13. This month I turn 33!

14. Many years ago, I thought that by 33 I’d have my own house, be a stay-at-home Mom to three kids, and be baking pies.

15. I live in my parents’ house, am a working Mom to a little boy and still can’t fry an egg right.

16. I believe there’s no such thing as a career path — only a life path. It’s up to you what career or job you want to take along with you on your journey.

17. That said, I feel young and old at the same time, but either way, super blessed.

18. I am Baba to Timmy.

19. I am Wifey to H.

20. I am craving for Drumstick right now. The ice cream drumstick, not chicken drumstick.

21. On my work desk is a piece of artwork H gave me when we were dating pa. It’s a 2X2 pic, showing a tree in four stages, four seasons.

22. I hold on to it not only to remember the past, but to anticipate the future.

23. I find it heartwarming when I hear of friends and former friends getting married and finding the loves of their lives. Everyone deserves somebody to love. And to be loved.

24. I still can’t believe I have a baby. He’s turning one soon.

25. There’s a baby waiting at home for me, and I can’t wait to see him.
