Motherhood so far

by

My Big Little TimmyTimmy looks like he’s giving orders in this picture. “Mommy, get me my shoes!” “Daddy, hand me my rattle!” Then Mommy and Daddy would hurriedly grab whatever the baby’s asking for and rush to satisfy the little king.

Nah, it’s not that way at all. Timmy has been a wonderful angel. His disposition is very warm and cheery. He loves interacting with people and is very sociable. (I guess he didn’t inherit any of my anti-social genes, hehe.) His grandparents and caretakers by day, Nonno and Nonna, have no complaints about the baby. Their only trouble is carrying Timmy in their arms though because he’s so heavy! Well, that’s a good thing for the baby but a bad thing for grandparents’ backs.

I guess I can say I’ve gotten into the groove of motherhood, chores and all. Doing the baby’s laundry is a breeze. Sterilizing his bottles is a routine. Pumping milk is still achievable. Getting him to drink his vitamins is not a problem. Lulling him to sleep isn’t difficult. Bathing him is no longer a pain! He now LOVES baths! Entertaining and educating him is a joy. It’s blissful because Timmy is well-behaved, and my family helps a lot in raising him. I’m very thankful for that. Balancing motherhood with work has been alright as well, time management being key to that.

Timmy’s tricks so far: Grasping stuff (mostly hair and ears of whoever’s carrying him). Squealing and babbling up a storm. Responding a LOT when he’s being read to. We can already tell he loves books. Yey! And his most recent milestone: Rolling over! Right now he’s learning how to push his butt up with his legs — the first step to learning how to crawl!

Soon he’ll be pulling himself up on the sides of his crib. Then he’ll be walking. Then running. What!! Time flies so fast! I better enjoy this bundle of cuteness and hug him all I can while he can’t crawl or run away from me just yet. 😉

    Good day!

I am Karen Apostol from UP Diliman taking up BA Broadcast Communication. I am on my senior year and I am conducting a research on how bloggers make use of blog advertisements to gratify their needs in blogging.
As a relatively new phenomenon, blogging is a trend which is of popular use by many of the Internet users. There are many possible advantages and/or usage of blogging, but this study focuses more on the personal experience of the bloggers in relation to the blog advertisements that can be found in their blog sites.
In line with this, I would like to ask for your participation in my research as one of my key informants. I believe that as a blogger yourself, you will have the experience and information which will be of help for the conduct of this study. Rest assured that all information gathered will be strictly treated confidentially between the researcher and the key informants, and that it will be used only for the purposes of this research.
We hope for your favorable response soon. Thank you very much and more power.

P.S May i ask for your email address so i may send the questions shoud you want to participate? Thank you very much.

I’ll send you an email :)

They grow up so fast talaga, Toni so we have to savor every precious moment with them:) May I ask what vitamins you’re giving Timmy?

Nutrillin (multivitamin) and Ferlin (iron). :)
