What is a meme? It is a piece of information or an idea that is passed on from one person to another, whether verbally or by actions done repeatedly. Given that definition, the parlor game “Pass the Message” counts as a meme, don’t you think?
Meme is pronounced “meem.” In my head though I pronounce it as “meh-meh” and feel like a little lamb in the process. Other times I pronounce it “mee mee” as after all, aren’t these tags all about me?
The virtual games of tag we play are memes, such as the one I am about to play right now.
