Mardi Gras while you sleep

by

Mardi Gras is one of the most festive celebrations I’ve heard of. That’s how I feel about this sleeping eye mask. No matter how zonked out you are, it looks like you’re still up for a party!

Sleeping Beauty

When my husband is on Gundam-mode (translated: fixated on finishing putting together a model robot in our bedroom till the wee hours of the morning), I always go to sleep ahead. I hate sleeping with the lights on though. The solution to my endless requests of turning out the lights was a sleeping eye mask.

It’s a compromise that worked. He gets to relax while Gundam-ing, I get to catch some zzz’s. And we’re still in the same room together. We’re sort of tied to the hip like that.

This mask comes in many colors. There’s one that’s got a zebra print and orange fur, others have the same metallic mask but with pink fur, green fur and blue fur. All faux faur, by the way. I got it from a store called Regina’s at Shoppesville, Greenhills. For only *drumroll please* P60 (a little over $1)! I hoarded a lot of these masks and gave them out as Christmas presents. They were a steal!

Don’t you just feel like you’re on Mardi Gras mode even you’re sleeping? Even my little bear loves it!

they are so cute and cheap. oh, I was at Greenhills last Saturday and forgot to buy the cheap earrings holder you posted way back. Mental note to remember it next time. :)

The last time I checked Daiso they didn’t have any available! That was about 3 weeks ago. Maybe you can request for those organizers if you don’t see them there. Hope you snag some!

i hope to buy one for my husband, but without the furs i hope. 😉
in our case, he can’t sleep with the lights on and i don’t have a problem sleeping even in broad daylight. just last week, he asked me to buy lots of those “airplane sleeping eyeglasses” to take with me to dublin. 😉
where do you think should i look for it?

Hmmm… how about stores that sell cosmetics and beauty stuff? Get the manliest looking one. 😀

Yup, these are really effective. My bed time is at the wee hours of the morning (like 4am- 5am) so the sun is up during most part of my sleep.

One afternoon, my sister found my sleeping mask on my bed and tried it out to see if it works. She eventually fell asleep!

I should try to find the sleeping mask with lavender scent. It calms you as you sleep. I think Beauty Bar has it (of course, that means it’s expensive! =c )

Oooh me likey! Thanks for the Beauty Bar tip. I’ll check that mask out when I go to the store!
