When I think Pinipig Crunch, I think vanilla ice cream on a stick with crunchy and chewy pinipig dotting the hard chocolate exterior. It brings back so many memories of childhood. It’s also a family favorite and my Dad is its biggest fan.
Then my Dad and I stumbled upon this yellow Pinipig Crunch in the grocery. Yellow?, I wondered. Is it mango-flavored? Cheese? No wait, it’s Sweet Corn! Each bar was a little less than Php 15.00. We immediately got a couple to try for dessert. Wee! I think my Dad was as excited as I was. Wait. No no, not possible.
So how’d it taste? Really good. I loved how it was so refreshing and best of all, not cloyingly sweet. The serving is just right as well. The bar isn’t too heavy or too small a serving. It’s jusssst right. Goldilocks would’ve been pleased.
Me, I’m more than pleased. Magnolia’s Pinipig Crunch Sweet Corn is now a staple in our freezer more than any other ice cream. My Dad still prefers the classic chocolate-vanilla Pinipig Crunch, but I like this better! It’s time to create new memories with this yellow Pinipig Crunch.
