I want some more smores!

Would you like some s’mores too?

This is one of my sister P’s favorite merienda treats! My cousin Max and I always look forward to afternoon gatherings because P’s sure to serve yummy smores.

Smores in the Toaster Oven my p sister assembling smores Maxine and her smores

Break a graham cracker in half. Add a piece of chocolate. Top with a marshmallow. Toast in the oven for 5 minutes, or toast till the marshmallow’s a bit toasted (look at the first pic… see how the top part is a bit golden already?), the chocolate’s still formed but getting gooey. Take out of the oven and cover with the other cracker half.

Careful! Those crackers are hot, hot, hot. Cool a little bit before assembling. Or if you just can’t wait, use a fork to help you cover those smores. When cool enough, sink your teeth into this sweet treat! Gaaaaah. Delicious.

Or you could do it this way.

HOW GIRLS MAKE S’MORES —
(1) Place Hershey bars on graham crackers. (2) Toast marshmallows. (3) Place toasted marshmallows on Hershey bars to melt chocolate.

HOW BOYS MAKE S’MORES —
(1) Eat Hershey bars. (2) Eat marshmallows. (3) Throw graham crackers at other boys.

Either way, you’re gonna be asking for some more s’mores! :)

watson: Hindi ko pa natatry sa microwave! Try mo! Diba ang lumang ice cream cone mina-microwave din para maging crunchy ulit? Baka maging crunchy rin ang graham crackers…. baka lang! Pero hindi magiging toasted ang marshmallows. Gooey lang siguro.

ahhh.. there’s smore’s and then there’s Smore’s. you’ve never had true smore’s unless you’ve had it outside, under the moon and the stars, in front of a nice open fire where you roast the marshmallows right before you put it on top of your graham cracker and chocolate. yuuuuuuummy!

Don’t like. I’m on a diet e. Hehe. Need to lose 40lbs before March next year. But I can make them for my siblings. I’m sure they would love it.

Delicious! You’d think only kids love this but get the adults around the grill melting their mallows and no one can resist! If possible, you should try it with FLAVORED marshmallows, quite good.

ninna loves smores. well, actually yung smorz cereal ng kellogg’s hehe. pero same concept siya – grahams with chocolate and mallows. buti na lang pulis yung tatay, kasi pag naiwan ang box kay ninna at sa nanay niya, hindi na nasisikatan ng araw ang pobreng cereal. :)

oh and sometimes, i also leave the smorz in the open, it’s good aromatherapy. :)

i always associate smores with barney, probably because of the barney episode where they made smores at camp. i really haven’t tried eating smores yet but it looks appetizing. maybe i should try it one of these days. :)

oh yummy! my girls like making smores too. They also make another version that I think you will like:
ritz crackers, peanut butter, marshmallow. Cook in the oven until marshmallows are browned and puffy.
