I was walking down the stairs when this flash of green on the first floor caught my eye. Eek! There’s a huge insect in the house! How’d that get in here?
Moving closer, I noticed it wasn’t moving. Making itself at home, eh? Hmmm.
As soon as I got to the first floor, its features became more noticeable. Oh.
It’s Mantis, from Kung Fu Panda!
The toddler must have dropped it as he played around the house. Good thing he didn’t leave his toy crocodile around the house otherwise I would have shrieked my mind off. It has already made one of our neighbors shriek! Hehe.
Just another day in Toddlerville. And yes, I’m bracing myself for when he brings REAL animals inside the house. Oh joy!

February 9, 2023 at 2:34 pm (1 year ago)I was so excited to get this new toy for my toddler, but now I’m worried he might have dropped it. We’ve been looking for it everywhere and I’m starting to get really frustrated. If you see it, please let me know so I can get my toddler his favorite toy back.
