Hot Noodle Soup

by

We ordered this from North Park during a late Thursday evening. Work was tiring through the day, but this bowl of hot noodle soup just did the trick to relax us.

Comfort is a bowl of hot noodle soup. That’s it. No frills. The plain Hong Kong noodles are enough to keep my inner child happy as I slurp and twirl the ribbons around my fork. The hot broth is enough to send waves of soothing and comfort through my body. Mmmmm.

Sometimes of course, it’s nice to jazz it up. Slices of boiled egg. Chopped green onions. Shredded chicken. Maybe some toasted garlic.

How do you like your noodle soup? How would you jazz up yours?

I like mine with a bit of onion leeks, some beef, and wanton. Yummy! you should try Ling Nam in Harrison Plaza sa Pasay. They serve handmade noodles and its the yummiest ever. Walang sinabi yung Chowking!

Same with Kay, I also like mine with a bit of onion leeks and wanton. A bowl of hot soup is really a good way to warm the body. Sometimes, when I don’t feel well, a good bowl of soup somehow helps rejuvinate the tired senses.

my ultimate favorite noodle soup is beef pho –vietnamese beef noodle soup. it’s amazing piping hot, with hot sauce and lime! and i can eat it during hot or cold weather… but it works wonder when it’s 20 degrees outside! (like today!) =D

We crave pho when we need that warmth, with lots of tendon and brisket. Yum! Sounds like the move went well, can’t wait to see the new place Toni!

I like the way you do yours.. Pero dati, I would add weird stuff on my ramen like cheddarwurst (hotdogs with cheese inside) or cut up some deli meat into squares and then I’d add that furikake thing on it. hahaha.. Sarap naman ng sabaw mo. Nakakagutom!

oh yummy! I like to spice mine up with chopped veggies like snow peas, or napa cabbage, or green beans, or what ever is in the fridge. AND of course, top if off with something spicy :)

oh yes. Noodle Soup comforts me especially during these times that i’m nearing my PMS or already am… hehe

even the plain instant noodle soups would do if nothing else.. but i love the original Nissin’s, the one imported from Japan – just the plain base soup! yum! it’s just a bit expensive and not always available in the groceries…
