When was the last time you had fun with your Mom? Mother’s Day is a few days away. A plan is in the works for my Mom but has yet to be finalized with my sisters. (Hi Mama! I know you’re reading this, hehehe.) The pic on the left was taken last year, but not on Mother’s Day. It was just one of those nights H and I took Mama out. We had a great dinner at Recipes, browsed through a bookstore, played in a video arcade and watched a movie (Flight Plan). The arcade part was the most fun because Mama and I tried different games. We even tried out the videoke room and sang “Just Once” together. Hahaha, that was great. I love my Mama! And I love having fun with her too!
The last update of The Ref Door Project will be posted on Monday. If you’d like to join that last round, just follow this link so you’ll know what to do. Happy weekend!

May 12, 2006 at 9:55 am (18 years ago)hi toni. the last time i had fun with my nanay was a few months before she had her stroke. we were in sm iloilo and went on a shoe shopping spree. i bought her three pairs of shoes!! kala ko she was going to ask for one pair lang! hehe. anyway, i don’t regret spending my money on her kasi i know she deserves the best. had i known that that would be the last time we would go shopping together, i would have bought her a whole new wardrobe. kaya enjoy being with your mom while you still can. hay naku, im getting teary-eyed! i miss my nanay! happy mom’s day to your mom and to all moms out there!

May 12, 2006 at 10:06 am (18 years ago)Just the other day Mama was emailing/calling me from work, informing me of the latest chismis with the familia. It cracks me up when she does her Taglish just so her boss doesn’t understand her. Hahaha.

May 12, 2006 at 11:32 pm (18 years ago)Your mom looks as great as you Toni. She looks so cool. My mom gave birth to me when she was 35 so there’s quite a generation gap..we’re not that close coz I grew up with my late grandmom. Still we owe our success to our moms, right? Happy Mother’s Day to all !!!
