All Hail the Glass Jar!

by
Not-So-Secret Stash This is my little snack stash. I put it on our dining table for easy access. The funny thing is I end up just looking at the jar for a looooong time before deciding whether or not to feast on the little snacks. It’s as if the glass is asking me, “Are you sure you want to go for a snack? Are you sure?” It works in stopping me from my impulse grabbing of snacks. Most of the time, I just walk away. Then I feel good about making that healthy choice. Yey! All hail the glass jar!

Oh that is too small a container for my snacks, I have a whole pantry just for my kutkot stuff. And I dont mind admitting I practically ransack it ravenously. 😀

nice jar … it somehow has an antique look which i like. my son has a snack jar too filled with bite size cookies, m&ms and nips. there are times when my naughty hands dip inside his jar for a treat. but since i’m on a diet, i try to stay away from his stash. :)

Toni, funny thing is, I also have a glass candy/choco glass on top of the center table and I would seldom take anything from it….but when I remove the glass, then I ‘d crave for its content.

hmmm…..ganun yata talaga, pag wala hinahanap?

    :-)

The funny thing is I’m not tempted with the glass jar. *L* The more nga that I hide it, the more I remember it, the more that I crave for it! This glass jar is reverse psychology for me at its best. *LOL*
