I attended a baby shower last month and one of the games was a twist to the kiddie parlor game “Pin the Tail on the Donkey!” Can you guess what the twist was? Here’s a very obvious clue:
It follows the same rules as the kiddie parlor game. Each player is given a pacifier. You can also print out colored illustrations of pacifiers on bond paper, cut them out and use tape. In our case, our game master had pacifier stickers. Once all contestants have their pacifiers, they fall in line. The first one to go wears a blindfold, walks towards the picture and gauges where the baby’s mouth is. The contestant whose pacifier is closest to the baby’s mouth is the winner.

Merong rocket-inspired, military…etc…haha! It was such a funny game na the “old maids” were so outraged by it. teehee…

BUT we forgot to fix up our mess before we ordered breakfast the next day. I remember ako pa yung nag-print ng picture of the David statue, yun ang ginamit namin na Hot Hunky Guy 😀 Nagulat yung bellboy na nagdala ng breakfast namin because of the big David printout on the wall and pics of cut-out penises on the floor, and four innocent-looking Chinese girls and our guy friend. Skandalo! *rolls on the floor laughing*

Any one or several members can get together to host the baby shower for the mother to be. This traditional custom has since deviated from the norms and it is in order today for the mother to be, to host the baby shower before or after the child is born. Fathers to be and male friends join in the baby shower festivities to celebrate the arrival of their child. The person throwing the baby shower seeks the help of others to plan the Baby Shower Invitations if she is not capable of creating one herself. Unless it is a surprise for the mother to be, she is included in planning the perfect baby shower invitation.
