Things I learned in 2005

by
  • Good hearts naturally gravitate towards each other and happy times roll on.
  • Life isn’t always about the better paying job or the higher step on the career ladder. It’s about knowing what your priorities are and thinking of what’s best for yourself and your loved ones.
  • Prayer heals.
  • It’s okay not to measure all the time when you cook.
  • A little dusting everyday goes a long way.
  • The 21-day habit works.
  • Cleaning the bathroom is therapeutic.
  • Fresh air always makes you feel better.
  • There are 101 ways to cook Adobo but the best recipe is the one you’re most comfortable with.
  • Say no to negativity. Surround yourself with happy people.
  • WordPress suits me.
  • Eating cones of Pistachio Gelato from Pazzo with your best friend makes for great bonding.
  • Steamed food can still be tasty with the right seasoning.
  • Caring for pets is harder than it looks.
  • I can’t sustain “Friday Trio” even if I have a lot of links to share.
  • An afternoon spent with a 10-year-old helps refresh your perspective on life.
  • “Everyday you wait is another day wasted.” (One Tree Hill)
  • Discovering cleaning products that really work is a joy!
  • I’m at peace with my body now. Really.
  • Respect is the foundation of every relationship.
  • The little things make a big difference.

2006 is going to be a really good year. I can feel it in my bones. Ooooh yeah.

Happy New Year everyone!

This is a great list! I can attest to the effectiveness of the 21-day habit, but unfortunately it can still be broken by procrastination in a few days.
