This is my favorite place in our home. I love curling up on the sofa and reading a good book in this cozy corner. The book I’m holding is about Mediterranean living. Sometimes there’s a pile of magazines on that side table, other times a pile of books. Right now it’s clear because we had just decluttered our living room.
This corner is also where I sit when we watch TV, with my soda and bowl of popcorn on the side table. Hmmm. Bigla akong nagutom.
Right beside the side table is our living room window. I love feeling the breeze come in when the windows are open. I love watching the sky turn from orange to purple to midnight blue. I love seeing the city lights from this corner. It’s a refreshing little space.

My favorite corner of the house is our TV room which is now my son’s play area because majority of his toys are there and he seemed to have monopolized the DVD player too. He has somehow memorized the lines of Ice Age 2 and Peter Pan 2 (his current favorites).
Thanks for sharing your favorite corner of the house. You look really fresh and relaxed in your favorite spot. It must be lovely to watch how the sky dramatically change its colors.

December 7, 2006 at 3:33 am (17 years ago)My fave spot at home is right at a sofa beside the fireplace, we call it the family room. Love it most when the fireplace is on. I once read a whole book just sitting there in the warmth of the fire and yet still cuddled with my throw blanket.

December 7, 2006 at 10:45 am (17 years ago)Right now my favorite place in the house would be my room, since I had just cleared it of most of the unnecessary stuff that my mom dumped in there because I don’t sleep there unless my dad goes home from Saipan. Anyway, I have a teeny tiny pic of it at my site, showing off the not-so-new workstation. 😀 Now if only I could get a bookshelf squished in there somewhere…hmm.
