A Kiddie Christmas Tree Year 2

by

It’s Kiddie Christmas tree time!

Timmy decorates his little tree.

Last year, we decorated our family Christmas tree with the toddler’s toys. This year, we haven’t put our family tree up yet but Timmy has his very own. Lucky toddler! It didn’t cost us a thing either.

4 foot Christmas tree : Hand-me-down from his godmother’s old office
Alphabet decor : Timmy’s toys
Christmas star and angels: Extra decor from home
Huge smile on the toddler’s face upon seeing his tree: Priceless

Every tree needs a star.

B is for Boy.

I want to put lights on it, but am too scared he might fiddle with the bulbs and get zapped. So I’ve nixed that idea. Maybe I’ll add a little gold tinsel to brighten it up in the evenings. The yellow light on the ceiling can bounce off the tinsel. Cute, right?

This tree now sits in the corner spot of his little play area at home. Super cute! Once his presents start coming in, they’ll be placed right under this tree. Then his colorful guard dog can keep watch.

Happy Kiddie Christmas!

Toni. the tiny angels in their peach satin gowns are from our first Christmas at the old house in 1989. So they are now 22 years old!

Now that’s a tradition! My kiddies have their own little tree aside from our big one. It’s a tradition for the littlest kid to put up the star, with the help of daddy of course. But for their tree, it’s whatever they want! I personally like making handmade ornaments, a few every year to celebrate milestones in their life. When the hubbs and I got married, our first tree as a married couple held only 1 ornament: a small wedding cake topper. :) Then we added to that every year as our fam grew. Now it holds store bought ornaments as well… my mom couldn’t stand the “bare” tree LoL. I should feature our tree sometime! 😀
