In the bag and the 123rd page

by

If not for these two tags, I would have not cleaned out my everyday bag and I would have another book forever on my nightstand.

Kitty tagged me first: Show the contents of your bag!

IN THE BAG

Bills. A Timezone (arcade) card. A twenty peso bill and two coins. Blue Panda pen. Wallet. Cosmetics kit. Yellow ponytail holder. A broken part of the bag’s zipper. A pack of Trident with no gum. Sunglasses. Vitress Instant Relax Hair Cuticle Coat (to tame wavy hair). Contact lens lubricant. Flash disk. Mentos gum. Sewing kit. Wet tissues. Digital camera. Oil control film. Bath & Body Works Sun-Ripened Raspberry Body Splash (my fave!). Hair brush. Bath & Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar Anti-bacterial Waterless Hand Foam. Company ID. Loose tissues.

Not in the picture: Gum wrappers. Trident gum that fell out of the pack.

I’m tagging whoever has loose tissues in their everyday bag!

Time for Tag 2!

Em tagged me second. The rules of the 123 book tag are:

1. Pick up the nearest book of at least 123 pages.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the next three sentences.
5. Tag five people.

boleynThe nearest book is Philippa Gregory’s The Other Boleyn Girl. I’ve been meaning to finish reading this book before the movie comes out in Manila. I haven’t gone past page 123 though. The three sentences that follow the fifth sentence of that page are (I hope they’re not spoilers for me!):

At once she twisted it behind my back and held me so that I could move neither forward nor backward but only cry out in pain: “Anne! Don’t! You’re really hurting!”

Safe enough! I’ll stuff this book in my bag so I can read it in my spare time. There are only a few more days till the movie shows. I’m tagging Abby, Dhey, Hazel, J. Ana, and Lady Cess.

hay, are panda ballpens still good? they were my favorite when i was in school. man, you carry a lot of stuff in your bag. i have one bag and i carry the following – a wallet, my planner, my green energel pen (yes, i like green), car/apt keys, cellphone, eyeglasses ( i can’t stand contact lenses), facial wipes, and a pack of chelsea candy (butterscotch). shoots, i carry a lot too.

hi kayni! panda ballpens are the same as always. they remind me of elementary and high school. i think i hang on to them for that sentimental factor. aha! you carry a lot as well! 😛 i hope we’re not straining our shoulders!

i love bath and body products, too. lalo na yung hand foam. :) daming laman ng bag mo toni! hehe. oh well, girls will be girls. :)

that book left me with a heavy feeling. pero syempre i’ll leave you to finish it first, ayaw kong mang-spoil, hehe. i haven’t seen the movie yet, i am waiting for the dvd. :) i want to see how they can fit all of the details from the book in the movie. i guess, they’ll have to leave a lot out of it.

btw, i tagged you toni. it’s HERE. thanks! :)

Ang hand foam ang bilin ko sa Mom ko kapag siya’y pumuntang States.

Ay naku dami talaga ‘no! Ang bigat nga ng bag ko eh.

It seems like everyone’s doing the what’s in your bag thing. Is this the curiosity season? Hehehe. I’m gonna join in one of these days.

I’m planning to read that book too before it comes out here. Will most likely buy the dvd because I don’t know anyone else who wants to watch it with me! Is it a good book?

    Everyone’s a voyeur! 😉

I haven’t gone past page 20 on this yet so I’m not sure. My Mom and sis love it though. I trust their taste so it must be good!

gusto ko to – i’m doing that tag, even the one about the bag’s contents, kahit wala akong tissue :)

    i love your sunglasses!

i haven’t read the boleyn girl, but it’s going to be a movie i think. i read about that book in amazon, and i saw the trailer on cable tv, so i’m very interested in both book and movie :)

Yey! The glasses were a gift from my hubby years ago!

I don’t like period films but this one looks interesting!

    Thanks for doing the tag.

Those 3 sentences are intriguing. Worth being put in the book’s back cover to entice readers. Was it something sensual or as benign as fitting a corset?

It was something violent! I think the sisters were having a catfight. I didn’t read on any further because I haven’t made it past page 20 on this book yet! Thanks for the tag.

i want to do the first tag! i’ll let you know once i’m done. super daming laman ng bag mo, toni! hee hee.

My bag is so heavy, Tin! And that’s the least amount of things I carry. If I don’t have my brush, I panic. If I don’t have the hair oil, I get irritated with myself. Small bags don’t work for me. Haha!

Thank you for doing the tag, Toni! I appreciate it very much! The most striking thing about your bag, for me, is the broken piece of the bag zipper. Any girl who keeps that is my chosen friend for life! :-)

We are friends then! And oh, I can’t bear to throw out the broken piece of bag zipper. I keep meaning to repair it but (insert all sorts of excuses here).

Thanks for the tag. I was reminded to clean my bag because of it!

Oh this is an older post, which I happen to stumble upon while blog-hopping, but I kinda like the idea. And although I don’t have a loose tissue in my purse, I do have some loose ATM slips and junks, LOL!, so I think I will do this too!

I’ve enjoyed reading your blog…I’ll be on the look out for more posts from you.

Majik’s last blog post..Go Habs Go!

Yey! Will visit your blog to see what’s in your bag then. 😀 Glad you’re enjoying your visits here!
