Expo Mom!

by

Are you doing your Christmas shopping yet? For Moms, Moms-to-Be and your families, this may be just the bazaar for you.

I was heavily pregnant during the Expo Mom last May, so I didn’t walk around the Rockwell Tent that much or buy anything. I did however get a good talk from the folks at Medela on breastfeeding! H won an umbrella during the raffle though! With Timmy such a joy now and seeing his cuteness in baby clothes and growing affinity with toys, my wallet just might be in peril. Uh-oh! 😛

Bazaar is on Nov. 22, 2009 (Sunday) at the Rockwell Tent. It’s open from 10am until 8pm. Entrance fee is P25 per person.

If I do go, I hope there are merchants selling quality baby slings. I’ve been researching online about “baby wearing” and would love to do this, but only with a good quality sling! Let’s see!

I noticed that there are a number of events for mommies and mommies-to-be before the peak of christmas. With the emphasis on mommyhood, most items sold and those in the shopping list are for the babies. Para talaga sa mga bata ng pasko, ano? And mommies are whole-heartedly willing to spend much for the kids. ^-^ Enjoy shopping mommies!

My sister gave me the Next9 sling and we couldn’t work it! I exchanged it for a Chicco carrier and Quino falls fast asleep when he’s in it.

Hi Toni, I wore my baby using a Next 9 sling for almost a year (since she was 2 months). I think I tried almost all of the carry types except for the one where you carry the baby on your back. I didn’t have trouble using it. And my baby loved riding it all the time. I even used it as a duyan substitute (back when she was lighter and smaller). Good luck on your shopping! I’m going myself and am too excited already to find good stuff for my baby. Hehe.

    Thanks for the tip Faye!
