Catching up on Twilight

There has been a serious Twilight drought in here, so this entry serves to play catch up on all the news! They may be old news by now but I have to write them out anyway for my own Twihard sanity. In bullet points now:

– MTV Movies Blog interviews Taylor Lautner about his Jacob Black character. Taylor shares that his favorite Jacob quote is, “Does my being half-naked bother you?” One of my favorite Jacob moments definitely. 😉 (video link)

– Let it be noted that whatever doubts I had about Taylor Lautner playing Jacob Black are all gone.

– Hollywood Backlot has pics from the set of Twilight. Oh yeah. Treetops and all.

– The official movie site is up and running over at http://www.twilightthemovie.com/. Pretty cool.

– I’ve been following Twilight Guy too. The premise of his blog is simple: A guy reads Twilight and writes about it, chapter by chapter. It’s an amusing read as his humor rocks. I always look forward to his chapter write-ups. Stephenie Meyer even gave him a special mention during one of her interviews.

– Want to buy a Twilight movie poster? Yep, there are some available now costing $20-$30. I want the simple “twilight” title on black though, no Bella and Edward. I wonder if they’ll release any like that. (posters here)

– The Philippines release date for Twilight could possibly take place after the Metro Manila Film Festival, according to this blog entry. That would mean January. I certainly hope not.

– Don’t forget that the special edition of Eclipse will be released on May 31!
