Color Teal Crazy: A Dream of Repainting the Bedroom

by

The color teal is a mix of blue and green. It’s a classic color that I believe goes with anything. But more than that, I found the color teal very relaxing. My husband and I have been dreaming of repainting our bedroom. It’s currently a mix of pale yellows and greens. I’m thinking of lobbying for the color teal. As you’ll see in the slideshow below, it is one soothing and happy color. Click on the right and left arrow buttons to see the slideshow.

Consider a versatile murphy bed when looking for guest beds, find the perfect office chair, and work with a contractor in your area to create a fun yet functional home office.
Work with a home decorator when choosing a rug or hanging new blinds in your home.

Totally Crazy about the Color Teal

Teal can be bold, but it can also be soothing. It depends on how much gray or white you mix with it. The bolder teal will border on turquoise, which I also love but consider too bright for a bedroom. The more subtle teal will have a little grey hue.

This is the shade of teal I’m going for:

And now, to convince my husband about it. Wish me luck! If he doesn’t like teal, not all walls have to be teal. It could be the accent wall.

If I had my own workspace at home, I’d totally paint it teal. Then my furniture would be white and cedar. So relaxing, don’t you think? I picture it in my head and it’s already my virtual happy space.

What do you think of the color teal?

Would you have any tips on repainting a bedroom? Leave your thoughts below please! If you also have tips on how I can sell the color teal to my husband, drop me a note too. 😉

Tell him that the color teal would make you a happy wife. This goes to follow that a happy wife will make happiness happen in the bedroom. 😀

In short, blackmail him with happy ehem thoughts *winks* LOL
