Christmas in July

by

Lately, I’ve been kicking off my mornings and wrapping up my evenings by listening to the soundtrack from A Charlie Brown Christmas. It fills me with positivity during the day and relaxes me at night. My baby likes it too. He moves around in my tummy when he hears it. Move over Baby Einstein and Mozart! Little Timmy’s stimulated by Christmas songs!

I put the whole album on repeat. At work, I close my office door lest my colleagues think I’m going cuckoo with the holiday songs already. I just can’t get enough of “Christmas Time is Here.” Have a listen here and be relaxed. Wait, grab your glass of wine (hot chocolate with marshmallows for me), dim the lights, sit on the couch, put your feet up. Now listen.

Now don’t you feel so relaxed too? And don’t you wish it were Christmas already? :)

What music do you listen to when you want to relax?

merry christmas mommy and baby! ^-^
i do listen to new age music, it’s like the meditation channel, very soft calming music. i love songs from the old hymnals too, brings me back to my childhood every time i listen to it.

last week i just asked kj what kind of tree are we getting this christmas…he told me it’s only summertime, it’s too far off to plan for christmas. hehe

Hahaha! Is that a Filipino thing? Being excited about the holidays even if it’s the middle of the year? 😛

i start listening to christmas songs around september…because it’s the first month that ends with -er.

And that’s when Christmas carols are usually played in malls! :)

If I wanted to relax I go with either Bossa Nova, some jazz or slow jams. Most of the time I go with Bossa Nova though.

I wonder if there are Christmas songs, Bossa Nova style! That’d be really relaxing.

That is an awesome song. Award-winning pa! :) “Falling Slowly” is definitely one of my fave songs too. If you have soundtrack of Once, also listen to “If You Want Me.” Lovely!
