Weekend Soiree #62: A game of comment interaction

by

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!

The game is easy! I will ask a question. The first person who comments will answer my question, and will leave a question for the next person to answer. This next person will answer that question, and leave a question for the next next person to answer. I am sure you get it!

To make things more fun, the questions have to reflect the chosen theme. For example, if the theme is FRIENDSHIP, all questions should relate to that topic. What was the name of your very first best friend? When was the last time you had coffee with a friend? As much as possible, let’s not repeat the questions for added fun! You are welcome to play more than once.

Let’s celebrate someone special for our 63rd weekend soiree.

The theme: MOTHERS

The question: What’s the best lesson your Mom has ever taught you?

experience things at least once in your life, you might not get the chance in doing so.

and be efficient when packing, you’ll never know what you will be needing when you’re out of town, hehehe!!!

    A:
There are many, many great memories and milestones marked by my mom but what I remember with fondness the most is when she volunteered to be a teacher of the day when I was in first grade many, many, many moons ago.

I remember that I was crestfallen when she initially told me that she couldn’t make but surprised me with an appearance that same day. Best of all, my classmates loved her and all the things she did–storytelling, games and crafts. They also told me that I had such a cool mom. And she IS, up to this day!

And I hope to pay it forward to my son, the Haligilet when the opportunity arises.

A: Not much. Just photoshopped a couple of our photos (which I’m supposed to blog about later today :) ), and a small jar full of nice little papers that have our “Best Mommy Moments”, which she can open in case of emergencies (i.e., when worried, sad, or anxiety kicks in)

Q: What was your funniest Mommy (your or you mom’s) moment?

I don’t quite remember the details, but I recall my mother, me, and some friends of the family. We were fishing, and I believe there was a fish involved, me holding the fishing rod, my mother holding the fish net, and a lot of screaming and laughing. :)

Q: Which one of your mom’s dishes/meals is your favourite?

My favorite times with my mom were just sitting around at the breakfast room table making dumplings or having a snack and having my mom tell me stories about her childhood.

Q: What traits did you inherit from your mother?
